1. What may be covered
Depending on the selected product and written project terms, warranty protection may include qualifying manufacturing defects in the artificial grass and qualifying defects in installation workmanship.
2. Manufacturer warranties
Some products are supported by a manufacturer warranty. Those warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s own conditions, intended-use requirements, maintenance instructions, exclusions and claim procedures. Artificial Grass SA will provide or identify relevant manufacturer information where applicable.
3. Workmanship
Any workmanship warranty applies only to the installation work expressly included in the accepted quotation. It does not automatically extend to pre-existing structures, drainage systems, soil movement, hidden services, work by other contractors or conditions outside Artificial Grass SA’s control.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Follow supplied cleaning, brushing and maintenance guidance.
- Remove leaves, debris and foreign material regularly.
- Avoid unauthorised alterations, unsuitable chemicals, excessive heat and activities beyond the product’s intended use.
- Report a suspected defect promptly and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage.
5. Common exclusions
Unless the written warranty says otherwise, cover may exclude ordinary wear, colour or texture variation within manufacturing tolerances, misuse, neglect, inadequate maintenance, vandalism, animal damage, burns, flooding, fire, lightning, subsidence, root growth, ground movement, severe weather, third-party work and use outside the agreed application.
6. Making a claim
Contact Artificial Grass SA with the customer name, installation address, project date, description of the concern and clear photographs. The site may need to be inspected before responsibility and the appropriate remedy can be determined.
7. Remedies
Where a valid claim is accepted, the remedy will be determined under the written warranty and applicable law. It may involve repair, replacement of an affected component, manufacturer assistance or another reasonable solution. A warranty does not necessarily require replacement of the entire installation.
